Waterford Girl Scout troop celebrates Black History Month with poster exhibit
Girl Scout Troop 63401 recently worked together to research black women who have made history and created posters recognizing their accomplishments and life events. Women selected for this project include Simone Biles, Nicole Byer, Misty Copeland, Josephine Holloway, Rosa Parks and Serena Williams. The posters were on display during February in the Children’s Room at the Waterford Public Library in honor of Black History Month.
