Crews preparing parks for spring in New London
New London — With the warm, sunny weather the past couple of days, thoughts may drift to spring.
In some parts of the region, snowdrops are even starting to bloom.
Here, at least, some people already are gearing up for the next season. The city's public works team was sprucing up Williams Park on Thursday in preparation for spring, including leaf raking, brush removal and pruning trees.
