Friends look to outdoors for pandemic gatherings

Stonington — Friends Pat and Corinne Ingellis of Old Saybrook and Pat and Eileen Howley of Rhode Island have been finding ways to see each other safely during the COVID-19 pandemic, Eileen Howley said.
Stonington is between their homes, so on Thursday they had an outdoor lunch together at Stonington Point, she said.
"We have to get outside and see friends, we can't just sit in the house all day," Pat Ingellis said.
