East Lyme — Ed Zito, left, and Roger Redfield, both of East Lyme, wade along the shore of the Pattagansett River on Wednesday while trying to bring in crabs using baited lines and a net.

Zito said the two often went crabbing together as youngsters, and after he retired recently, they finally found the time to relive their childhood.
