Stage tip: Flock Theatre's "Comedy of Errors"
The Comedy of Errors
Conn College Arboretum, New London
This is the last weekend of Flock Theatre’s performances of Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors” — and you should go. Why? Well, I could point out that this is Flock’s 25th year of presenting Shakespeare in the Arboretum, and that is certainly an anniversary worth celebrating. But the real reason to get thee to the Arbo is that this is a bright, breezy, entertainingly silly production. And we do mean breezy: it clocks in a little under two hours. The Arboretum remains a gorgeous place to see a play, and Flock folks remain skilled at Shakespeare. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Tickets are $20, $15 for students, seniors and military.
